Description about the painting:
This painting is about the Deaf group sitting around the table with a big lamp. They were discussing about the book, "Understanding Deaf Culture - In Search of Deafhood," written by Dr. Paddy Ladd. There is a deaf dog under the table with a collar that says "Deaf Dog, I know ASL." There is a framed picture of Laurent Clerc on the wall. See Patti Durr's vlog about the painting. This was one of the first Deaf art paintings that was done in 2010.
