Description about the painting:

On October 19, 2013, I gave a workshop on "Deafhood Journey" and taught the Deaf students how to sketch and paint to however they want to express themselves, is all about their own identity. The students painted EXCELLENT work and all of their artworks are just BEAUTIFUL. They are brilliant! Some did affirmative art and others did resistance art. This painting is a self portrait, searching for Deafhood until found and show a true identity. I had the students watching me paint and how I put yellow against red and red against blue and so on. They all must be opposite to each other.
