Description about the painting:

This painting is inspired by 'ASL Thrives', a painting that says "With no ASL, a Deaf mind is a terrible thing to waste' and 'With ASL, a Deaf mind THRIVES." I looked at the painting, the colours, blue tapes and the composition. I put together all elements in a coffee cup. A metaphor. This painting will be sold at Kansas Olathe Art Festival June 29-30, 2013, with the 8 other Deaf artists.
