The painting shows the puzzle pieces are put together except for the very last piece and it is missing. Why are the pieces in blue color? Why are the hands in the pit? There is something very wrong and it must be done now.‪ There is another painting called "In the Pit" http://www.nancyrourke.com/inthepit.htm and that painting shows much more intense and quite emotional. The description of the painting, The Missing Piece, the hands been tossed in the pit, because the community's been too submissive and passive.
