Description about the painting:

I found a sketch that I did in 2010, and it is a pattern of Alice Cogswell, who was a first Deaf student in America at American School for the Deaf, Hartford, Conn., in 1817. The repetition of Alice Cogswell, is to, analyze what she had really looked like when this was from only a silhouette. There was no known photograph of her.
