Description about the painting:
I was in Buffalo, New York in October 2018, during my artist in residency at St. Mary's School for the Deaf.
I worked on a large scale painting of a famous Deaf Sculptor Eugene Hannan's sculpture of One Handed Alphabet that was placed underneath of the large statue of Abbe Charles Michel D'Lepee where he studied and made the two sculptures in Paris, France in 1929 and brought back to USA for the Deaf Third World Congress in Buffalo, New York in 1930. The painting is now hung against the wall on the main stairways of St. Mary's School building.
