This painting is from a (Children of Deaf Adults) CODA's experience. A hearing person coming from Deaf parents, uses two languages, ASL and ENGLISH. The left side is the Deaf Culture, using American Sign Language. The right side is ENGLISH, speaking and listening. The CODA person shows two faces. This is Bilinguical and Bicultural.
