This painting is inspired by Deaf artist, Susan Dupor's The Family Dog where the faces are jagged like television and cannot understand what they are saying. In the painting, shows colors on the faces that looks like "jagged images" from tv. The Deaf person in black silhouette is frustrated in the mainstream and feels very isolated and cannot understand or learn much.
