Description about the painting:
This painting is about AGBell seeing himself in the mirror changing into LSL, Listening and Spoken Language. Today, the image AGBell is becoming small while LSL is getting big. They knew AGBell is a bad image to the Deaf community, and it is trying to cover up. The mirror itself is a huge mask of benevolence and in that mirror is actually a black hole itself. The Black hole represents 'vacumming away the Deaf culture.' The frame has swirl shapes and they are 'cochlear'. The person in the mirror is LSL who is really AGBell himself. They embrace each other, which means that their 'journey' still exists. The dollar signs are shown as buttons, but it really means the CI corporations are making big profits when implanting CIs on deaf babies. This is Resistance Art.
